We have been reading alphabet books and reviewing letter identification and letter sounds. We decided to make some letter pretzels with the students.

Finally we added the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mixed them together.
Once everything was mixed together we passed the bowl around and asked them to describe what they saw.
- smells like bread and looks like milk (Owen)
- smells like a gingerbread man (Elijah)
- looks like glue and slime (Addison)
- smells like bread (Matthew)
- smells like some ice cream (Eric)
- there are bubbles (Nash)

Each student was given a piece of dough to shape into the first initial of their name. They did a great job!
Finally we placed them in the oven to bake.
The best part was eating them.
